        Commercial Construction Superintendent

        Recruitment and Onboarding
        • Responsible for management of construction projects
        • Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met
        • Creating short-interval look-ahead project schedules to make sure that upcoming events are communicated and tracked
        • Maintain a daily log of job site activities, timesheets, and e-mails
        • Responsible for client satisfaction, project quality, and cost control
        • Conform to applicable corporate policies, procedures, and ethical standards
        • Communicate regularly with Property Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and others
        • Interact with other various staff members to obtain support and resources
        • Managing and coordinating the work to ensure that it is constructed in a manner that is consistent with the contract documents and/or scope of work
        • Verifying that all work is installed in a workmanlike manner
        • Obtaining all required inspections
        • Ensuring all aspects of the physical work are fully documented, including red line drawings
        • Managing changes in project scope and ensure that the project manager knows of them
        • Managing the punch list to assure timely completion
        • Conduct weekly job site/safety meetings with all engaged subcontractors
        • Provide consistent feedback and reports to project team

        Requirements:
        • 5+ years' experience in commercial/building construction
        • OSHA Trained
        • Must be highly organized and efficient
        • Able to perform hands-on work with limited time at a desk
        • Attention to detail and a self-starter will be a requirement
        • Able to handle a wide variety of obligations during any given day
        • Must be willing to travel, work after hours, and nights/weekends
        REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Must be computer literate and capable of using MS Word, Excel, internet/email, and iPad/laptop. This position requires an individual that is confident, energetic, and has leadership skills. Must be able follow the direction of the project manager and/or the senior project manager.

        Commercial Foreman

        Essential Functions:
        • Studies project specifications alongside project superintendent to plan procedures for pipe installation sequencing
        • Coordinates and supervises daily activities of employees
        • Operates assigned heavy equipment to excavate, install, and backfill large pipe and culvert
        • Inspects work sites to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation
        • Survey site for potential hazards or safety concerns
        • Responsible for crew safety at all times and a safe work environment that complies with OSHA standards
        • Inspects work to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications
        • Ensure work is being performed in accordance to construction schedules
        • Use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, eye levels and transit levels to set appropriate grade for pipe installation
          • Requirements:
          5+ years of experience supervising installation of pipe and culvert on heavy civil projects

        Construction Estimator

        Responsibilities:
        • Manage and keep updated the master bidder list
        • Manage and keep updated a union and non-union budget template
        • Manage and keep updated the estimating log
        • Review all incoming bids with Director of Construction to establish course of action
        • Prepare survey checklist for bid walk-through
        • Manage all bid documents, issuance to subs, collection of pricing, addendums
        • Prepare estimate cost sheet
        • Prepare proposal cover letter
        • Estimate and proposal processing
        • Assist Project Managers with preparation of change orders
        • Develop scope of work sheets for subcontractor contracts
        • Manage client web portals for bid information and updates
        • Prepare project schedule in Microsoft project as needed for complete bid package submissions
